Lane Community College
The first Small Business Development Center in Oregon was launched in 1983 and hosted by Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. Today the Lane Small Business Development Center is located in Lane Community College’s Downtown Campus.
Oregon Small Business Development Center Network
The Oregon SBDC Network is a well-established partnership between 17 Oregon community colleges, two state universities, the US Small Business Administration and the Oregon Business Development Department.
The State of Oregon has designated Oregon’s Small Business Development Center Network as the State’s Principal Provider of Business Assistance because of the breadth of the valuable services we provide our clients. Through funding, collaboration, alliances and teamwork, our partners play a significant role in making the work of the Oregon SBDC Network possible at little to no cost.

America’s Small Business Development Center Network
America’s SBDC represents the nation’s most trusted small business resource– SBDCs. SBDCs are small business development centers that offer no-cost consulting and low-cost business training to entrepreneurs and growing businesses. The SBDC network has over 35 years of experience and touches over 1 million small businesses every year.
There are over 1,000 SBDC locations around the country and over 5,000 certified SBDC business consultants ready to help.
